Abstract

This text presents the findings of an international interdisciplinary research project conducted at the Institute of Neophilology of the University of the Commission of National Education in Kraków, Poland. The project addresses contemporary issues pertinent to the understanding of German-language drama and theatre within a European context. Specific focus is placed on the matters discussed at the academic conference held in October 2024, which addressed the topic of human beings/humanity (humanum) in contemporary literary drama and theatre in the context of the issue of sustainability.
